    Job Duties

  • Weekend General Cleaner

    Location: Lafayette, IN Base Pay: 13.00 per HOUR

    We're currently hiring General Cleaners for the weekend shift. If you need some extra money for the holidays, this will be perfect for you. 

    • Shift: Weekend part-time night or days available
    • Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 
    • Day Hours: 6:00AM to 6:00PM
    • Night Hours: 6:00PM to 6:00AM
    • Pay: $13.00 an hour 
    • Bonus: $50.00 bonus if both days worked 

    You will be performing various tasks related to paint booth cleaning. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Participating in lockout/tagout
    • Cleaning paint booth walls and windows
    • Mopping
    • Cutting and replacing plastic covering
    • Replacing robot covers
    • Cleaning sludge from flood sheets and under booths
    • Cleaning purge pots
    • Scraping and cleaning conveyors
    • Rollers and rails
    • Replacing filters
    • Cleaning ovens
    • Replacing foil
    • Cleaning air showers
    • Cleaning tanks

    May be required to perform other cleaning activities as needed to complete the work and meet customer requirements.

  • Evonik SAP Administrative Assistant

    Location: Lafayette, IN Base Pay: 15.20 per HOUR

     This position is responsible for providing clerical support for the maintenance planning department, maintenance coordinator department and maintenance supervisors. This role assists in making the department/areas more productive and capable.

    Primary responsibilities and accountabilities of the job:

    Maintenance Planners and Coordinators

    • Editing, prepare and proofreading documents
    • Collect manuals, quotes and information to support the planning effort
    • File, organize and update critical information
    • Update SAP task lists, BOM, material requests, equipment, functional location
    • Update One Maintenance Schedule in SAP 

    Maintenance Supervisors

    • Update SAP with craftsperson feedback

    Print all shop papers and organize per craftsperson

  • Evonik Warehouse Operator

    Location: Lafayette, IN Base Pay: 15.20 per HOUR

    0Primary responsibilities and accountabilities of the job:

    • Documents work according to standards
    • Follows written and verbal direction

    Quality

    Each individual is responsible to meet fundamental cGMP requirements relating to their conduct and work practices to ensure the SISPQ (Safety, Identity, Strength, Purity, Quality) of the products manufactured at Evonik Tippecanoe Laboratories. 

    This includes but is not limited to the following:

    • Adherence to all written instructions.
    • Timely reporting of all deviations to leadership.
    • Training on each activity is completed and current and that each employee understands their assigned duties.
    • Strict documentation practices are followed to ensure that all steps of the operation are appropriately documented.
    • Ensure to maintain the work area in a state of cleanliness and sanitation through good housekeeping practices and applying good personal health practices.
    • Ensure the security and safety of the product through the reporting of any potential risk to leadership immediately.
    • Ensure the safety of the personnel and product by wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) according to the operation being executed.
    • Each individual should report any action that they believe could impact the safety or quality of any product immediately to leadership.

     

     

    Environmental, Safety, Health, & Security (ESHS)

    • Adhere to ESHS programs, rules, & procedures.
    • Assume personal accountability for individual behaviors related to ESHS activities.
    • Have the appropriate knowledge and tools prior to performing a task.
    • Complete all required ESHS training and remain current with applicable learning plans at all times.
    • Report all injuries to Employee Health Services or Security and leadership within the same shift of the incident occurring.
    • Inform direct leadership of any ESHS hazards or concerns in the workplace.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to coworkers on both safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions.
