This person will have both electrical and mechanical skills. You must be a self-starter and strive to complete tasks right the first time and not just find the quickest Band-Aid solution. 1.Works from manual, prints and schematics to rebuild, repair and install equipment

2.Performs welding and fabrication as needed

3.Proper and continued use of PPE and follow all safety policies while performing assigned duties. (i.e. Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, etc.)

4.Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization

5.Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the plant

Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.

Observe work, and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.

Enforce and maintain safety devices on machines.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 5+ years of maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or equivalent combination of education. Automotive mechanics do well in this role.  This is an extremely fast paced environment!
