Production Press Helper Job Duties: 

  • Will be helping and learning all aspects of the Press Machines
  • Ensure product meets qualify standards and is run efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot Press Machine if any production problems.
  • Weight, wrap and cap rolls
  • Record weights on press pads of finished rolls
  • Wash up and set up of all presses.
  • Operate forklift as required
  • Other duties as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Recent relevant production machine operating experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Sit Down Forklift experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Respirator Fit Test required
  • Successful completion of Munsell Hue Color Test

JOB DETAILS

  • Aid in the inspection of incoming, in-process and finished (manufactured) components for conformity utilizing parts list, samples, models, and/or drawings;
  • Aid in the creation, improvement and maintenance of document control procedures and work instructions;
  • Assist in maintaining the companies Quality Management System;
  • Assist in the execution of internal audits focusing in all areas of the company;
  • Responsible for maintaining inspection tool calibrations;
  • Assist in collection, maintenance and interpretation of SPC data as required;
  • Assist with MRB regarding product non-compliance;
  • Assist in development of corrective actions and root cause analysis;
  • Aid in the creation of manufacturing drawings and confers with management and/or engineering staff to determine conformity;
  • Aid in the execution and submission of First Article Inspections;
  • Assist in the collection and maintenance of COPQ;
  • Assist in maintenance of a safety conscience working environment.

 

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Previous Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace Preferred);
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification (Preferred);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to keep accurate and detailed records;
  • Ability to understand and implement aerospace focused quality procedures and standards;
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Utilize hand tools such as Drills, Wrenches and basic hand tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems Wiring control systems to vehicles Follow work instructions, wiring diagrams, install pneumatic and hydraulic components.
  • Some Welding preferred but not required - Will train on site
  • Must be able to obtain Class B CDL upon hire
  • Project management or leadership skills a plus
