• Unload trucks with Forklift 
• Check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing.

Seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Estimator at our Tomball, TX location. The Estimator will be responsible for estimating the machining time, material, and tooling requirements. All estimates are to provide optimum utilization of machine capabilities, tooling, and fixtures using established or pre-determined manufacturing methods. Operation estimates will be used for the creation of customer quotes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use new and historical data to calculate accurate estimations of production operations and times for the purpose of quoting products.
• Maintain awareness of new ideas in processes, tools, methods, etc. and apply them effectively to machining.
• Using proper machining methodology to produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards.
• Identifying tools and/or outside processes needed based on in-house mfg. capabilities.
• Responsible for coordinating with Production Control to update routers for parts created or modified.
• Meet established deadlines for work.
• Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Work experience in high mix, low volume job-shop manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in machine shop practices and procedures.
• Must be competent in determining SFM, raw mat’l. types and machine processes for CNC lathes and mills.
• Edgecam software programming experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to communicate technical instructions.
• Microsoft office skills.
• Professional, business acumen.

Musical Manufacturing company seeking temp to hire machine Operator to perform the daily set up of running the daily production of various models of drumsticks. 

Position requires: 

• Able to interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Use a variety of machinery following appropriate methods and procedures for production
• Inspection of production
• Preventative maintenance tasks on machines and equipment.
• Change tooling from model to model.
• Use gauges and measurement equipment to ensure tolerance requirements.
• Keep constant communication with operators and leads
• Keep track of production boards and confirm data entry is correct
