  • Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

    Location: Grand Rapids, MI Base Pay: 25.00 - 30.00

    A warehouse manufacturing client of ours in Grand Rapids, MI is in need of a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor on 2nd shift. Pay for this role is $25 and up based off experience. 

    In this position, you will ensure we are properly staffed to complete the required work load based on the Team’s schedule. As the Shipping and Receiving supervisor, you will be responsible for maximizing productivity and striving to increase efficiencies.

    Duties of a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor:

    • Interview, hire, and oversee team of Hilo drivers and coordinators.
    • Trains, coaches, and leads work team to achieve safety, service, and efficiency goals.
    • Implements and sustains a positive work environment and ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and practices.
    • Records and delivers coaching and disciplinary action to team members as necessary.
    • Conducts annual performance reviews
    • Holds team accountable to meet daily work targets for their shift and able to resolve conflicts
    • Accountable for creating weekly work schedules accounting for planned vacations and call-in requests
    • Ensures all loads are accurate, complete, and meet all safety and food quality guidelines.
    • Responsible to monitor KPIs and makes adjustments during the shift to ensure team performance 
    • Ensures that their operation is clean and ready to hand off to the incoming shift.
    • Identifies and corrects issues identified on the fly and communicates to their manager on-going issues
    • Recommends and implements process improvements in alignment with their manager.
    • Ensures that all scanning and computer equipment is in good working order and communicates to manager and IT when issues are identified.
    • Responsible for performing the same work duties as those supervised when short on staff 
    • Takes full ownership of their respective shift and is willing to work overtime or weekends as directed by management

  • Production Supervisor

    Location: Grand Rapids, MI Base Pay: $35.00 / hour

    A client of ours in Grand Rapids, MI is searching for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for union workers as direct reports, overseeing production lines and operations under the supervision of the Production Manager and Plant Manager to ensure quality of product and delivery to distribution. You will also be responsible for direct supervision of production associates. Work closely with all other departments in the facility including maintenance, sanitation, and shipping.

    Duties of a Production Supervisor: 

    • Demonstrates supports of General Bakery Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensures adherence to all quality requirements including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), etc.
    • Provides leadership, training and coaching with associates to create culture of inclusion and engagement.

    • Create a Continuous Improvement environment by improving products, service, and processes with the objective to reduce waste while striving for efficiency and profitability.

    • Monitors product quality; making formula changes as directed and tracks changes.

    Duties of a Large Equipment Operator includes:

    Duties of a Mold Process Technician:
