  • CNC Machinist

    Location: Grand Rapids, MI Base Pay: Based on experience

    If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a great opportunity on 1st or 2nd shift, then this is the opportunity for you! Our client, located North West side of Grand Rapids, are in need of skilled CNC Machinist. Hourly pay for this position starts out at $18-25+ an hour, but will go up based on skill and experience. 

    Candidates will produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

    Duties of a CNC Machinist include:

    • Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving parts programs
    • Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices.

  • Machine Shop Operator

    Location: Grand Rapids, MI Base Pay: Based on experience

    A great client of ours, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Machine Operator on Second Shift, Monday - Friday (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)  with overtime expected in our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. The chosen candidate would be responsible for running a wide variety of equipment including but not limited to Laser Cutter, Cut of Saw, Punch Press, Drill Press, Surface Grinder and Tumbling) including troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities. The position starts between $18.90 and $22.16, which includes a shift differential. This a Direct Hire opportunity located in Walker, MI.

  • Maintenance Technician

    A great client of ours located in Grand Rapids, MI is currently seeking a Skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician coordinates and performs daily maintenance activities including maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing of heavy wood processing machines according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems as well as plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling and other building systems.     Duties of a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician include:

    • Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy wood processing equipment or machines (including Homag Saws, CNC, and Edge banding) to set maintenance schedules.
    • Perform diagnostic checks to equipment; troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
    • Assemble, install, and disassemble mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
    • Perform general building maintenance as needed such as painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
    • Support the development of preventive maintenance procedures for new and existing equipment and all building systems.
    • Inform appropriate personnel of problems and projects that will affect quality of production and production schedules.
    • Maintain tools and equipment through proper storage, training, maintenance and usage.
    • Ensure compliance of facility to meet local building and fire codes.
    • Set up and maintain maintenance records and project files.
    • Requisition all parts, supplies and raw materials needed to maintain machinery and facility.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
