We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist for a 6 month contract with a well-known HVAC client in Clarksville.

Position: HR Generalist

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (flexibility to work overtime as needed)

Position Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities of HR Generalist:

  • Administration of HR policies and programs covering: employee relations, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and wellness programs
  • Ensures HR practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Recruit, call and schedule candidates for interviews
  • Consults with management on application/interpretation of laws and regulations, HR policies, performance issues, transfers, terminations, and promotions.
  • Monitors employee climate to identify issues/trends; counsel managers on identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Handles internal complaints, investigations, disputes, employee issues and concerns.
  • Consult with team members responsible for other customer groups and with HR Manager on design of communication, implementation and training programs.
  • Consults with management on recruitment issues
  • Provide support for various HR projects as needed

Our client has an exciting opportunity in their Clarksville, TN location! This company has been established for over 70 years in South Korea and is newly established in the United States. Our client is a logistics and trading company focused primarily on their customers.

Summary of the Position:

We are seeking a qualified Purchasing Coordinator who is responsible for identifying the products being purchased. You will be responsible for communicating with suppliers in South Korea and China, while confirming all aspects of pricing, deliveries, and maintaining an inventory control database. You are required to meet procurement schedules with daily functions including, but not limited to, processing paperwork, issuing purchase orders, and obtaining quotes.

Responsibilities of Purchasing Coordinator:

  • Analyze customer’s production forecast
  • Plan purchase and supply schedule
  • Place purchased orders to suppliers
  • Meet the procurement schedule and solve problems for procurement
  • Contact with global supplier (Korea, China, Vietnam, etc.)
  • Stock shortage risk control
  • Communicate with custom brokers and freight forwarders to ensure on time delivery
  • Provide proper shipping documents for customs clearance
  • Solve supplied item quality problem
  • Analyze and report purchase/sales performance
  • Maintain contact with customers
  • Provide shipment information and logistic schedule
  • Purchase parts with the lowest cost through negotiation
