Job Title: Tool Prep Operator Mon-Wed, Paid for 40 hours

Job Summary: The Tool Prep Operator will receive tools from production operations and prepare them to go back into production. This includes removing resin buildup, may require sanding the tool surface smooth, repair of any blemishes in the tool surface, seal and apply release to the mold to bring it back into production readiness.

Summary of Duties:

• Operates and processes parts in trim area

• Adheres to company specifications, work instructions and work orders

• Sanding of tools to remove build-up and imperfections

• Applies chemicals as needed for specified applications

• Applies release agents to molds as part of the preparation process

• Properly identifies and communicates any defects in tooling

• Ensures adherence to quality standards

• Safely handles various materials and agents used in the process Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 0-2 Years of related or manufacturing production experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to read, write and speak English at a level necessary for successful job performance

• Good manual dexterity

• Able to operate a variety of hand and power tools

Working Conditions:

• Standing, sitting and walking throughout the workday

• Work will be done in a production shop environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes and carbon fiber

• Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives or other chemicals

• Proper PPE is defined and required for specific work area

• Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required
