Large Steel Manufacturer seeks welders for their second shift production. A qualified candidate will be able to:
Interpret weld symbols and follow weld procedures.
Perform production mig welding operations on a variety of plate, tubes and related materials working from prints and/or verbal instructions.
Setting welding machine to assure uniform bead, adequate penetration with minimum warp.
Utilizing cutting torch and arc air gouger as required and replenish electrode wire reel and/or stick electrode as necessary.
Performing cleaning operations when required using chipping hammer or grinder to remove flux, burn-though and splatter.
Utilize overhead crane to lift within capacity of crane
Maintaining work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
6 months minimum of work experience in a welding position
High school diploma or GED
Contigent upon a Background and Drug Screen.
