Kitting Technician – 3rd shift Sunday night – Thursday night ( some Friday nights)

Summary:

This individual is responsible for the pulling orders/parts that need to be put into their proper containers or racks prior to being sent to the production line from the warehouse.

Essential Duties: Forklift Experience is a MUST

Essential job duties for this position include the following items.

Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

• Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner (forklift, overhead crane, etc.)

• Pick parts and store parts in proper locations

• Verify correct part numbers and quantities

• Review kits for any changes and build kits to specifications

• Submit inventory problems and location changes to Kitting Coordinator

• Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned area

• Maintain records and complete paperwork

• Work toward continuous quality improvement

• Stay current with changing technology

• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Kit Builder must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.

Education/Experience:

Required:

• High School Diploma, GED or continuing education

• Forklift Operator certification

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
