Job Requirements

  • Retrieve a Production order list and labels, daily and/or as needed, from the Production Manager.
  • Use a pallet jack to transfer appropriate products (to be worked on) from the area in the warehouse where products are stored on pallets for Production to the appropriate work station in Production.
  • Sort out, verify count, and organize the products on that pallet
  • Follow the operating procedures for each work station to use the assigned machine (e.g., polybag, sonic welder or “clammer,” stake-on machine, or molding machine) and appropriate products/parts to complete each order as specified, ensuring accuracy and completing orders in a timely manner.
  • Verify that each order has the correct part type and quantity, and verify that the UPC and UCC codes match the hard-copy order list.
  • Box each order using an appropriate-sized box and in a neat manner; Affix appropriate label; Place the finished pallet in the appropriate location to be stocked by Receiving.
  • Notify the Production Manager when supplies (e.g., product, labels) are starting to run low.
  • Abide by all departmental safety policies and procedures at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing safety glasses, gloves, and/or an apron when working on machines that require these items.
  • Ensure that one’s work station is clean and tidy at the end of each shift, and perform other area maintenance duties as needed.
  • Refer to Production Manager with any questions or concerns. 
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed.
