Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Salary: $16.00 per hour
Work Schedule: M-f 8-5pm
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Receives, verifies, bags and tags and keeps records on incoming shipments by performing the following duties. Accurate physical receiving of materials/product to maintain the integrity of inventory control, and ensures delivery of materials/product to the proper department.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Schedules all inbound deliveries; ensures purchase order number is on all paperwork. Receives product deliveries. Records and checks quantity and quality of good received. Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments. Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repair. Properly inputs received material into computer system and forwards proper documentation to accounts payable. Delivers product to appropriate personnel – insures all pathways are kept clear. Assists in other departments as needed. Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers. Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations Wears personal protective Equipment as necessary for the job. Check shipments for any damage during transit and notes on B/L All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent GED. 1-year warehouse experience a plus May require the use of forklift, both manual and electric pallet jacks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
