Hire Dynamics is in search 1st Shift Temp Assemblers – Micron Assembly Department ($20/hr)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule:
1st shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm
OT Schedule: 4:30am – 3:00pm
2nd shift, 3pm – 11:30pm, M – F
OT Schedule: 3:00pm – 1:30am
2nd shift MUST train on 1st shift for 30 – 60 days!
Weekends required for OT as needed!
1st shift weekend OT schedule: 4am – 12:00pm
2nd shift weekend OT schedule: 12pm – 8:00pm
Environment Type: Temporary (with potential for hire on)
About the Role:
The 2nd Shift Temp Assembler supports our Micron Assembly Department by assembling products and sub-assemblies according to established standards, engineering prints, and production orders. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble products and sub-assemblies following established methods, procedures, and standards.
- Build special units using engineering prints and blueprints.
- Use air impact wrenches, hand tools, drivers, grease guns, indicators, and other assembly tools.
- Operate hand arbor presses, pneumatic presses, and hydraulic presses
- Inspect completed units to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
- Inspect component parts prior to assembly for correct identification and appearance.
- Complete required documentation and daily production reporting.
- Operate overhead hoists, cranes, or forklifts as needed.
- Assemble gearboxes using liquid nitrogen.
- Operate testing and air-testing equipment.
- Verify that units meet painting standards and package finished units accurately, including label matching

Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- 2+ years of assembly experience (preferred).
- Prior manufacturing experience (strongly preferred).
- Experience using power hand tools (preferred).
