Job Opening: Janitorial Associate

ProLogistix is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment. Located in Yakima, WA. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations and ensuring a hazard-free workspace for all employees. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs. or more.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general floor maintenance

• Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal

• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed

• Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance

• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and industrial vacuums

• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with OSHA guidelines

• Assist with minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, unclogging sinks)

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and production areas

• Lift and transport heavy items (50 lbs. or more) as required

• Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or maintenance needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred, not required

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously, both above shoulder height and below the waist

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for long periods

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments

• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
