ResourceMFG NOW HIRING: Plastics Process Set-Up Tech

Location: Grand Rapids MI

Shift: Sunday- Thursday 10:15p-6:15a Overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $26.00 an hour

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plastics Process Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential to ensuring our plastic molding operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust plastic injection molding machines according to production specifications.
• Install molds, configure process parameters, and ensure proper machine operation.
• Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for molding equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with quality and production teams to meet daily goals.
• Maintain accurate setup documentation and records.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in plastic injection molding setup preferred.
• Strong understanding of molding machines, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
