Well known Warehouse located in the City of Adelanto is seeking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic to join their awesome team!
Maintenance Mechanic Pay: $24 hourly
Maintenance Mechanic Schedule: 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM
Maintenance Worker job responsibilities and duties.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure machines continue to run smoothly; building systems operate efficiently; and physical condition of building does not deteriorate.
- Assembles, installs, and/or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
- Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts, equipment, and machinery.
- Observes and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions.
- Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Examines parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
- Operates newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Inspects drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replace filters, and performs other maintenance actions, following checklist.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
- Diagnoses problems to locate the cause of a breakdown.
- Handle all building maintenance such as plumbing, electrical and yard maintenance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Shop Foreman or Management.

Maintenance Mechanic job requirements
- Experience using hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of an apprenticeship is preferred
