An essential Manufacturer in Chatsworth is looking for Packaging associates!
- Full time/Long term Opportunity!
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
- 2nd shift openings! Hours: 1:00pm-9:30pm
- Must have steel toe shoes/boots

Position Summary:
Responsible for executing all essential packaging operations while ensuring strict adherence to current. Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols. This role involves maintaining product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations to support a high-standard manufacturing environment.
• Assembly of products on an assembly line
• Packaging vitamin products for shipment and delivery
• Straightforward, simple, repetitive work
Assist the team with cleaning tasks, including washing, sanitizing, and dismantling pill counter components. Support line preparation and startup by staging components and bulk materials in the packaging room according to the designated production line.
• Perform manual tasks such as assembling boxes, loading bulk materials into pill counters, hand-packing products, and conducting visual and physical inspections of in process and finished materials. Follow supervisor instructions while adhering to all safety and cGMP procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by learning and executing washroom
procedures in compliance with safety and cGMP guidelines.
• Properly wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by cGMP standards.
• Accurately enter required data into Redzone, including shipper label verification when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing 5S activities as needed.

You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):
• Capable of frequently lifting, up to 50 lbs., climbing step-up ladders, and performing repetitive tasks such as scooping, wiping, reaching, bending, and kneeling as required.
• Ability to be exposed to nutraceutical raw materials and powders which may include allergen related items • Proficient in basic computer skills with the ability to interpret and follow written instructions.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to cross-train across operations, functions, and other departments as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in food or pharmaceutical processing, FDA-regulated industries, or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (1–2 hours) and occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
