Production Millwright – Conroe TX
Production Millwright for an aluminum can manufacturing plant. The plant operates on a continuous schedule 24/7.
Employees work 12-hour shifts. This position will work the Night shift.
We also offer shift differential.
This position will trouble-shoot, repair, replace, maintain and install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical production related equipment within this high-speed metal packaging manufacturing facility.
Equipment includes body-makers, printers, washers as well as other packaging machinery.
Responsibilities include following all local, state and federal electrical codes. Documentation of problems and maintenance of equipment and facility systems are also required.
These positions will also provide training for equipment operation and safety precautions.
Pay $18 / hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Production Millwrights responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Interest in building and repairing a variety of mechanical systems
Knowledge of computerized machinery
Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
Ability to visualize a layout by looking at plans
Experience in conveyor systems and maintenance of systems
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers or field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts and maintain inventory and related documentation.
Provide support and education, working with users to identify needs, determine sources of problems, or to provide information on product use.
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to work to exacting standards

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements
Must have significant experience in operating production machines.
Related work experience or technical training/school or technical degrees may be substituted for the required work experience.
Ability to work a 12 hour shift which will include night shift and weekends.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Requirements
Welding certificate or Welding experience
Three (3) plus years of experience industrial maintenance experience.
high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
Competencies
Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of team members or to customers.
