About the position:
Seeking an experience CNC operator to run jobs on CNC Okuma Lathe 5-6 Axis with sub spindle and bar feeder. You will be working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
• Set up and tear down a work order on a CNC Machine.
• Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
• Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Must be able to work off of blueprints
• Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
• Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs – weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
• Maintain the machine within the scope of its ability.
• You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc. as needed to keep parts moving
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.
• Observe all safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.

Required experience & qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC Lathes, Okuma is preferred.
• General knowledge of G-Code and M-Code
• Working knowledge of shop math (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry).
• Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading
