Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
- 1st Shift, needs to be flexible – hours may vary
- Pay Range $28-$34 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Understanding of PLCs, ability to access programs for troubleshooting purposes
- Common knowledge of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- Maintains detailed documentation of service repair tickets and preventive maintenance tasks performed
- Support Safety Program with facilities issues
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance and reports on general manufacturing equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors and rotating machinery
- Work with production personnel to troubleshoot and understand mechanical problems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, check blueprints, repair manuals, and maintain parts catalog.
- Maintain building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, gas systems
- Contract with outside suppliers as required to support all above
- Performs required inventory transactions to ensure accurate inventory of parts and supplies
- Continually, informally assesses building, grounds, and machinery with respect to functionality, professional appearance, and safety
- Assists Facilities manager with daily and special projects
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
•High School diploma or equivalent required, some college or trade school preferred
•Personal Computer skills including proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
•Ability to handle multiple roles and support requests simultaneously with excellent follow-up
•Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
•Valid driver’s license and good driving record
•Electrical experience/skills preferred
