Job Responsibilities:

• Soldering components: Solder components and wires onto circuit boards and other electronic components 
• Inspecting products: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy 
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair soldering issues 
• Maintaining a clean work area: Keep the work area clean and organized 

Other responsibilities of a soldering job may include: 

• Performing different types of soldering, such as surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering 
• Consulting production schedules to prepare equipment and work areas 
• Gathering components to meet production schedules 
• Setting up equipment 
• Using tools such as side cutters, pliers, and crimp tools 
• Repairing circuit boards 

Job Requirements

• Minimum 12 months relevant Soldering Microscope experience
• Able to use basic hand and power tools
• Basic math
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to identify problems
• Able to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
