7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday- Friday Pay: Dependent on experience.

Primary Responsibilities of Welder:

• Hands on operation of equipment and welding.
• Ability to complete production welding in a manner that meets the Quality Control checks.
• Follow blueprints, shop drawings, and diagrams.
• Sanding, grinding, and cleaning welds.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Side tasks as assigned.
• Ability to move up to 50lbs unassisted with equipment.
• Follow verbal instructions and meet production schedule.

Job Requirements of Welder:

• Certified welder or able to pass a welding test.
• Read diagrams and blueprints, have a solid knowledge of welding symbols.
• Use of measuring devices and gauges to determine thickness and size of metal.
• Operate small forklifts, pallet jackets, hoists, etc., or the ability to learn and gain certification.
• Equipment knowledge of MIG, ARC, TIG, FCAW, plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of different metals and alloys.
• Physical strength, stamina, flexibility, and patience.
• Perform welding and cutting of metals.
• Can handle extreme temperatures and work environments.
• Ability to have good time management.
• Ability to communicate in writing or verbally.
• Ability to be punctual and work full work schedule; including overtime when needed.
