Job Opening: Skilled Machine Operator

Looking for skilled Machine Operator with mechanic and troubleshooting capabilities to lead team for sprinklers company in the city of Azusa.

Work schedule: Monday – Friday 1:15pm-9:30pm

Pay Rate: DOE $24 – $33 per hr.

Job requirements: 

• Under limited supervision sets up and operates major automated assembly and packaging machines. 
• Completes routine machine setups, changeovers, parts loading and performs preventive maintenance. 
• Troubleshoots machine malfunctions, corrects routine problems and replaces defective machine components, but refers complex problems and/or programming changes to a technician 
• Responsible for safety and housekeeping for the respective work areas 
• Performs quality checks and production reporting in PeopleSoft and other systems 
• Realizes accurate material transfers and assists cycle counting and resolution of inventory issues 
• Capable of performing all Assembler and Production Machine Operator roles and requirements 
• Assists Production Manager and Supervisor to achieve day to day safety, quality and production goal 
• Trains, monitors and coordinates the work of temps and other operators

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Resume
• High School Diploma 
• 3+ years of high volume manufacturing experience with automated machines 
• Proven skills to set-up, troubleshoot and startup automated assembly and packaging machines 
• Ability to perform weekly PM on equipment 
• Effective communication skills 
• Ability to effectively understand and work with PLC interfaces 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions 
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft/MRP, Databases etc.) 
• Ability to train others 
• Excellent team player
