Job Opening: QC Technician

Bottling manufacturing company in Temecula is looking for a QC Auditor for their 2nd shift!!!

Temp to Hire position

Shift: Monday-Friday

Time: 2:00PM-10:30PM

-Available to work weekends depending on production needs-

Purpose of Position:

? To ensure the integrity and adherence to the Quality System of our injection blow preform and blow molding plastic bottle facility, in the area of raw material, working process and finished goods

Major Responsibilities:

? Conduct product and raw materials, quality checks as per router and product check sheet procedures

? Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (SQF/IMS) compliance

? Document Quality Control checks and report discrepancy to supervisor lead for corrective action. Verify timely completion of corrective action.

? Communicate with other Quality Control Technicians any unusual or out of specification condition

? Implement and coordinate standard procedures for nonconforming product and processes

? Assist in the training of operators on product quality requirements and safe work practices

? Maintain housekeeping and a safe workplace

? Maintain production reports, time cards and attendance sheets for manufacturing

Position Requirements:

? Basic math skills, good verbal and written communication, a working literacy of English and ability to use measuring equipment such as magna mike, dial calipers, depth gauges, height gauges and scales.

Language Skills: Bilingual, Ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
