Job Title: Digital Finishing Operator
Location: Everett, WA
Pay: $24-26 hourly
Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 4:00am-4:40pm, overnight rotating schedule 4 days on/4 days off/ 3 days on/ 3 days off. 8 hours of overtime every week =$$$!
We are partnered a leading full-service provider of label and packaging solutions with diverse products and they are seeking to add a Digital Finishing Operator to their team! This role focuses on the setup and operation of commercial label inspection machines, including visual quality control. You will be responsible for slitting continuous lengths of printed material into strips of specified width.

Responsibilities:
- Receive job assignments from the Press Supervisor or Team Lead and read job specifications.
- Select correct dies, cores, and rewind methods for each job.
- Review job jackets to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are addressed.
- Inspect products to ensure quality integrity and package products accordingly.
- Monitor the flow of material through the machine to detect irregular cutting and winding.
- Ensure the quality of work, including color, size, die-cut, perforations, print, and the quantity of packaged items.
- Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging converting jobs.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
- Remove or replace blades on inspection machines as needed.
- Complete paperwork for each job and package finished goods for shipment to customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and other measurement devices.
- Must be able to stand regularly and walk frequently during the shift.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
