Warehouse/Inventory Control Specialist
Performs wide variety of duties to maintain and control accurate levels of inventory in warehouse. This includes the evaluation, research of simple and routine discrepancies, and entering data information into warehouse systems.
Great Full-time opportunity – Warehouse/Change Specialist Pay Rate: $22.00 to 25.00/hr
Temp to Hire/Direct Hire
Opportunity Pay is negotiable depending upon skills.
2nd Shift Hours 3:00pm – 11:30pm, 3rd shift hours 11:00pm to 7:30am
Able to work Weekends
- Ability to lead other inventory workers a must
- System and procedural expert to facilitate problem solving related to inventory discrepancies
- Verifies that backorders are filled
- Resolves inbound receiving problems
- Responsible for notifying all necessary parties of changes in released orders and consolidation of orders
- Makes changes to all appropriate paperwork including Return to Stocks, Material Releases, Spur Summaries, Order Changes, Engineering Holds
- Issues, reconciles and performs root cause on Cy
- Math proficiency.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Great written and verbal communication.

- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Inventory Management Systems
- Ability to work well with others in a group
- Ability to read and write English
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System and procedural expert to facilitate problem solving related to inventory discrepancies
- Verifies that backorders are filled
- Resolves inbound receiving problems
- Responsible for notifying all necessary parties of changes in released orders and consolidation of orders
- Makes changes to all appropriate paperwork including Return to Stocks, Material Releases, Spur Summaries, Order Changes, Engineering Holds
- Issues, reconciles and performs root cause on Cycle Counts
- May coordinate special handling/audits with plants and other distribution centers
- Operates cherry picker/fork lift to research and correct inventory discrepancies
- Reconciles Scale/PeopleSoft inventories
- May assign and re-profile picking locations
- Familiarity with WMS(Warehouse Management System) and inventory management systems
- Responsible for practicing good housekeeping and safety procedures
- Works with Supervisors to improve/solve safety, quality and production issues
- Performs other distribution duties as assigned
- Determines alternative products by contacting the appropriate Customer Service Representative
