Remedy is Hiring for ENTRY LEVEL Machine Operators on Day Shift at the leading Solar Panel manufacturer right here in Jacksonville, FL located in Cecil Field!
Machine Operator
Day Shift: $14/hr – 6:00am – 6:00pm
Rotating Schedule
**Must be comfortable working every other weekend**
Machine Operator Summary: ENTRY LEVEL – Machine Operator assembles portable solar cells and solar parts and equipment. Small parts used to produce the solar panels are fed into robotic machinery and then assembled down the production line.
Job Duties:
- Set up machinery for operation
- Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
- Maintain activity logs
- Fill in controlled checklists accordingly and accurately
- Ensure material supply is on time and sufficient, report material shortages to supervisor
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic English comprehension
- Must be detail-oriented
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar experience
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Ability to lift and bend occasionally, and to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
- Ability to work in a team
- Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
