Job Opening: Railcar Materials Operator

A chemical and plastic manufacture located in Azusa is seeking a railcar materials operator.
Direct Hire Opportunity!
Rate: $20-27/HR DOE
Depending on the production work schedule, shifts can be expected to be:
- 8-hour/5-day: 6:00AM – 3:00 PM or
- 12-hour/7-day rotating schedule: 6:00AM – 6:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Raw Material Offloading
- Schedule railcar switches to proper unloading spots, track raw material railcars to determine arrival date, and work with production to determine bulk raw material levels to schedule unloading.
- SAP processing – BOLs, good receipt, post goods, material movements competency training, review SOPs, continuous improvement in safety / housekeeping eliminate inventory variances
- Accurate Inventory & conduct cycle counts
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience working with rail car
- Should have experience scheduling railcar switches to unloading spots
- Should have at least a High School Diploma
- Should be able to work 8-hour/5-day, 12-hour/7-day rotating schedule
- Knowledge of fundamentals of hazardous waste regulations
- Basic understanding of DOT & IATA Regulations
- Basic understanding of ISO practices and principles
- SAP experience highly desired
- Should have experience with BOL, SAP, SOP'S, Inventory
