Assembly Worker
1st Shift

Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay: $17 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 7AM – 3:30PM
Job Summary: Performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks. Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations. Prepares items for shipment ensuring cost effectiveness. Stages machines with proper material to ensure efficiency goals are being met.
Essential Functions:
- Complete and turn in job travelers to accounting for packing slip issuance
- Receive, unload, and identify incoming materials, transfer to appropriate stocking area, notify manufacturing manager or other needed personnel of receipt of materials
- Stage materials at machines for operators
- Operate fork truck as needed
- Take completed parts to shipping for proper packaging
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
