ResourceMFG has Material Handler positions available in Chelsea, MI!

Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:00PM

Pay

$15.50/Hr

Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).

· Using job schedules to determine which jobs to stage and the order in which to stage them.

· Maintain inventory by completing cycle counts.

· Load and unload material from cells as needed and check counters periodically so that materials do not run out during the job runs, or in preparation for the next scheduled job.

· Move parts to designated areas and dispose of scrap in the appropriate scrap bins.

· Keep material rack area organized and clean.

· Log material correctly in the computer system

· Forklift Certification

Job Requirements

Minimum 12 months relevant Material Handler experience
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Able to use basic hand and power tools
Basic Math
Mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of WMS systems
Experience on Forklift or other industrial equipment

Job Responsibilities

Follow safety guidelines
Follow standard work instructions as assigned
Perform hands-on tasks
Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
Maintain clean and organized workspace
Troubleshoot equipment issues
Meet production standards
Work in a team environment
Accurate recordkeeping and documentation of deliveries, inventory and supplies
Inspection of product
Storing, moving, and managing materials
Experience in MSDS documentation, a plus
