ResourceMFG is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders for a premier manufacturing company in Randleman!! These are career opportunities with great pay, benefits and growth opportunities. Work 1st Shift, Mon-Fri as our newest Level 1 MIG Welder!
Pay: $23.00/hr ($920/week! plus unlimited $100 referral bonuses)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Job Duties as an experienced MIG Welder for ResourceMFG:
- Focus of this position is producing steel parts in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Responsible for any fabrication necessary and on time production of parts
- MIG welding, tack up, grinding, cleaning, as well as assembly of skids and tanks
- Accurately measure and cut different materials on different machines
- Clean all slag, burrs, weld spatter, and repair any discontinuities in the materials, or the finished product

Minimum Qualifications to be a successful MIG Welder for ResourceMFG:
- 1 year work experience
- GED or High School Diploma
- Good attention to detail
- Follow all safety procedures
- Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16”
- Basic ability to interpret sketches & blueprints
- Proficient with hand tools i.e., Angle grinder, weld pliers, clamps, drills, impact, bench grinder, and air die grinders
- Successfully complete the on boarding training program
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to be an ideal MIG Welder for ResourceMFG:
- Must be able to measure to 1/16th of an inch
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply a WPS
- Capable of passing a steel plate GMAW fillet weld break test in the 2F position, buttons test, 1G GMAW test, 3G vertical up, 3G vertical down
- Must be able to set up oxyfuel and plasma torch as well as be able to make clean square cuts, straight cuts, beveled cuts, and wash welds
- Ability to cooperate with a team and take directions from supervisors as well as level II and level III welders
- Capable of operating the band saw, ironworkers, bench grinder, and port-a-band
- Must be competent enough to determine if their own work is complete and correct as specified by instructions, drawings and specifications
- Work independently or cooperatively with little hands-on instructions
- Must have a solid understanding of weld joints and weld symbols
- Ability to interpret blueprints / engineering sketches and correctly assemble them
- Must be able to perform routine machine maintenance and trouble shoot issues
- Ability to operate welder and replace gas cylinder or other parts
- Ability to use hand and power tools
