Job Responsibilities:
- The primary functional duties and responsibilities of the PCP include:
- Keep the Material Manager or Production Control Manager or his/her designated person apprised of scheduling activities in the production area.
- Schedule production releases to ensure all job orders are on time, at or under budget, to Customer and Company specifications and Quality Control standards.
- Submit accurate and timely reports documenting production scheduling activities to the Materials Manager, Production Control Manager, Master Planner or his/her designated person.
- Research and recommend measures to the Materials Manager, Production Control Manager or his/her designated person to improve production efficiency, product quality, and safety.
- Monitor and improve as needed the continuous workflow process layout and activity.
- Assure the generation of Purchase Orders for materials (parts) required purchasing activities.
- Assure the purchase parts, supplies, etc. are ready to go to production on time to support operations.
- Generates daily shortage reports for jobs scheduled for release.
- Assures the timely and accurate entry of all data into the computer.
- Assures the accurate and timely return to stock any excess or inaccurate material.
- Works with inventory and purchasing to manage the accountability of all warranty claim parts.
- Assures the enforcement of all company policies and procedures within the Materials area.
- Other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Materials Manager, Production Control Manager or his/her designated person.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- This position requires the ability to speak, read and understand English
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration preferred
- Two (2) years purchasing Experience required
- Five (5) years purchasing Experience within the Circuit Board Assembly/Fabrication industry preferred
- Experience in computer literate for data input.
- This position requires the ability to speak, read and understand English
- Must have the ability to lift twenty-five (25) pounds with regularity
