Description
Remedy is hiring for Experienced Machine Operators to work in a manufacturing facility for a local building materials manufacturer located on Ellis Rd in Jacksonville FL.
Job Title: Machine Operator (Experienced)
2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 1:00pm – 9:00pm
PAY: $18 per hour
3rd Shift: Mon-Fri, 9:00pm – 5:00am, $18.25
PAY: $18.25 per hour
Training is provided

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform various manufacturing functions associated with the operation of equipment required in manufacturing of building wrap materials. Positions include but are not limited to press/rewinder operation, machine monitoring, and altering press templates. On the job training will be provided.
- Equipment setup and operation of the roll-press & rewinder machinery.
- Adjust variable and provide adjustments as requires to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters of the product.
- Performs system checks, monitors and responds appropriately to alarms, interprets trending data and report malfunctions.
- Complete the necessary paperwork for the completion of work day.
- Moderate to slow pace environment
- Monitoring the rewinder machinery accurately and consistently.
- Attention to detail
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform functions associated with the operation of various pieces of equipment
• Follow manufacturing specifications and all safety procedures including use of PPE
• Ability to cooperate with fellow team members including maintenance, engineers, safety, and quality
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
