Assembly duties:

• Perform top quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

ResourceMFG is looking for experienced Assemblers for a Optic Manufacturing Company in the SE Area in a temporary role.

• Hours: Mon-Fri 7am to 3:30PM
• Pay: $19 an hour
• 3 to 5 month project

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling, cleaning, shaping, testing, blocking, and basic inspecting of optical substrates
• Bevel, mill, grind, and generate optics to specified tolerances
• Operate micrometers, spherometers, auto collimator, dial indicator, depth micrometers, roughing saw, generator, edger, and grinding mill
• Inspect, perform dimensional analysis, and clean during shaping operations as necessary
• Perform various testing methods necessary to ensure the quality specification of components being tested
• Provide accurate estimates on process times for components in the shaping area
• Interpret and understand blueprints coming through the Shop for fabrication purposes
• Perform routine maintenance on all shaping area equipment and tools
• Works with other technicians to learn process, production or area quality problems
• Performs other duties as assigned including duties required to ensure coverage throughout value chain
• Use and interpret metrology equipment
