This is working for a medical manufacturing company located in the Southeast area of Jacksonville, that engineer and builds guides, implants, and medical devices for reconstructive purposes. Every part of their process is an integral part of supplying the necessary medical needs to save lives. 

Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist 

Pay: $17 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm 

Summary

 Performs material transactions, inventory adjustments. Cycle counts and production identification for the sales support department. Examine and inspect finished parts and products for defects with inspections tasks, production descriptions, and reference materials.

Minimum Requirements

Inventory with small parts – inventory software experience – healthcare terminology I.E., distractor, retractor, etc. (preferred)

Job Requirements

• Investigates the root cause of material discrepancies; executes corrective actions to resolve problems
• Communicates with in house employees to answer questions pertaining to product and procedures
• Assist with the assembly of material according to sales orders received, as needed
• Posting incoming orders for the Sales Support storage location while maintaining batch control for SSD (sales department) material
• Contributes and assists with process improvement initiatives
• Assures work stations are kept in a clean, safe and orderly manner
