We are currently hiring for Warehouse/Will Call in the Duluth GA.  This is a temp to hire position starting at $18.00.

Our client is a manufacturer of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with building management systems and controls. 

Summary: As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the coordination of the stores on-site activities, handling receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging and delivering customer orders; and all transactions with the business and local vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Staging
• Shipping & Receiving
• Use Forklift (clamp is a must) to complete work
• Stocking
• Enters inventory into software system.
• Material Handling
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance
• Resolves discrepancies with materials
• Responsible for will calls
• Filing of M/S’s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
• Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged goods.
• Manages transfers.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Customer Service (face to face)
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations.
• 2+ years’ experience in shipping, utilizing UPS World Ship, Fed Ex, and LTL truck shipments
• 2+ years’ experience in receiving, cycle counting, and inventory control

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• 2-3 years of prior experience operating a forklift (clamp)
• Must be well versed with use of computer. SAP is a plus but not required.
• Good verbal communication skills and legible handwriting.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions.
• Solid reading skills. Must be able to read orders and match the items on shipping tickets to items picked.
