Description

Resource MFG has a client located in Sterling Heights, MI, in need of a Tool and Die Repair. 

Direct Hire 

Responsibilities include general die maintenance such as sharpening, repairing and or replacing details, grinding for steel and modifying tools to current standards. This position must demonstrate good decision making, pressroom troubleshooting, diagnosis of problems and course of action. Tool room repair and maintenance work and tool room machining practices. Experience in maintaining fixtures is a plus. 

Job Requirements

Requirements 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in general die maintenance such as sharpening, repairing, replacing details, grinding form steels and modifying tools to current standards, 
  • problem solving skills
  • Financial skills - Ability to work within a budget and make best use of the resources available.
