Description

An RC Tools manufacturer located in Covina is in need of a product engineering assistant.

  • 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday (Flexible Schedule 24-40 Hours)
  • $20.00-25.00/Hour Depending on Experience
  • First 30 days, will be a Trial basis. Afterwards, Direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the engineering department in the design, development and manufacture processes to bring projects to market.
  • Apply knowledge and skills of SolidWorks and machining processed to create solid models, assemblies, BOMs, production drawing and machined prototypes.
  • Related department document control.
  • Assist PE with all related jobs to maintain vender accounts and relationships, maintain work area tools and equipment, company assets and IP, product and project documentation.

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience
  • Should have some SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with QuickBooks, JobBoss and MasterCam is a plus
  • General knowledge and use of CNC Programming, CNC Mill and Lathe and manual Machining is helpful.
  • Diverse knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing disciplines is helpful
  • Knowledge in mechanical parts design and manufacturing
