ResourceMFG is looking for a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to work for a local company specializing in commutator manufacturing.

**Direct Hire opportunity

2nd shift - 2PM-10PM (train on 1st shift 6AM-2PM) 

$20.00-$30.00/hr (Based on Experience)

• Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
• Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
• Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
• Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Experience with a 3 and 4 Jaw Chuck, cutting copper, small to large raw material, and lathes

Job Requirements

• Manual lathe machinist experience (1 year)
• CNC machinist (1 year)
• Must be detail oriented 
• Basic Math
• Must be able to read a scale and ruler
