Now Hiring Instrument Fitter

The manufacturing industry is growing fast and we’re looking for an experienced Instrument Fitter to grow with us. We have an immediate job opening with a leading manufacturer who treats its people right! • Location: Houston, TX 77045
• 1^st Shift
• Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour, based on experience

Instrument Fitter Responsibilities:

• Identify and proper use of instrumentation materials
• Knowledge of instrumentation tools and equipment
• Understand principles of measurement as applied to instrumentation
• Read drawing and P&IDS
• Layout and install various size tubing
• Fabricate and install support, braces, and hangers for tube tray
• Layout and install instrument stands and support
• Mount and install instrument devices such as pump, switches, transmitters, regulators, level controllers, safety valves, gauges, etc.

Job Requirements

• Run pneumatic tubing
• Complete the layout of tubing on skids
• Run tubing to the end devices
• Bend tubing 1/4- ½ inch thick
• Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks as needed
• Reading blueprints
• Familiar with different types of tubing
• Knowledge of end devices
• Understanding of system flow
• Performs required testing of tubing
• Bending stainless steel 4+ years of experience: Instrument Fitters
