We have direct hire openings for a Painter in Bellevue, WA at a company that owns and manages several buildings including retail shops and restaurants. This is a 3^rd shift position!

Sand surfaces, prepare areas for paint with tape, and help paint commercial buildings with tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayer equipment.

Pay and Schedule Information:

• Pay: $26/hour
• 3^rd shift: 9:30 pm – 6 am; Monday-Friday

Job Duties of the Painter:

• Prepare surfaces for the paint by scraping, sanding, and washing
• Cover floor areas and tape baseboards to protect carpet, furniture, glass, and other surfaces
• Mix and blend colors for a variety of paints, epoxies, and high-performance industrial enamels
• Remove paint from surfaces by using sanders, wire brushes and paint/varnish removers
• Fill damaged surfaces areas in with materials such as putty, caulks, fiberglass and resin
• Apply primers, sealers, stains, and undercoats with brushes, rollers, or spray-painting equipment and striping machines
• Apply high-tech industrial enamels and epoxies
• Prepare and finish or refinish woodwork and casework
• Apply texture material to walls and ceilings using texture machines, pumps and hand tools.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements of the Painter:

• Have 2 years of residential or commercial painting experience
• Be able to read written work instructions
• Be able to work on ladders, aerial work platforms, scaffoldings, or outside in the parking garages
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Have a high school diploma or GED
