ResourceMFG is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Tech I to perform preventative maintenance and make minor repairs on machinery and production equipment.  This is a full time, contract to hire opportunity.

Equipment Maintenance Tech I:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and evaluate performance of equipment.
• Perform complex procedures.
• Follow all safety, quality procedures and work instructions.
• Other related duties as directed.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to comply with requirements for respirator usage.
• Ability to lift material and equipment weighing up to 45lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in confined places.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

• Train 6 months on day shift, M-F 7am-4pm.
• After training completed, work 12 hour night shift, Th, F, Sa, e/o W 6pm-630am.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years related experience is required.
• Reading, writing and communicating in English.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and understanding of preventative maintenance.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
• Good understanding of various machine set-up and equipment operations.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete work assignments for the week with minimal supervision. 
• Ability to share technical observations with other Technicians.
