Manufacturing Company in Los Lunas, NM is looking for Material Handler

2nd shift: 3pm to 12:00am Monday thru Friday

$17.60  an hour

The level 1 position can keep the foundry inventory while maintaining all paperwork associated with the traceability, inventory and quality control of product/re-melt, and raw material.  Can trouble-shoot any problems associated with the essential functions of the position and acts as mentor for training of lower level material handler.

Essential Functions:  

• Maintains records of raw material/remelt usage.
• Receive and identify product recovered from the melting systems.                                                                                                                                                                                                    
• Keeps stock/remelt records when powders are received from powder processors to the storage area.
• Operates a forklift.
• Enters data into a computer, maintain records and forms relating to the foundry, knows the differences of product/re-melt and raw materials. 
• Must prepare and maintain records, ability to interpret, adapt and apply work instruction guidelines, and ability to read and comprehend numerical and written data. 
• Must keep a neat, clean, organized and safe work area to eliminate any possible contamination, separation, of product/re-melt, and raw material. 
• Must be computer literate.
• Complete other work duties as assigned.
• Will Cross Train in other positions/departments as assigned.

Job Requirements

 High School

 Working Hours and Conditions

 With forklift maneuver charge cans that weigh 135lbs. must lift up to 50lbs. from floor to chest and empty into charge cans.

Must be able to establish an effective working relationship with supervisors and fellow employees. 

Must be able to work flexible work hours when needed and overtime when requested.
