In Portland, MI we are searching for an Industrial Machine Repair Technician. Pay for this role will vary based on experience. This is a 2nd shift, direct hire opportunity.

Duties of an Industrial Machine Repair Technician: 

• In this role you will be responsible to complete repair and preventive maintenance of conventional manufacturing equipment and CNC machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, turret alignment, pneumatics is a must.
• Knowledge of CNC machines and controls, forging presses, as well as heat treat furnaces is preferred.
• The position will also require some welding and sheet metal fabrication.

Job Requirements

• must be capable of setting up and operating mills, lathes and other repair equipment.
• must be a team player. Must have strong ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment. Willing to work all shifts, extended shifts and weekends as required.
• Preferred Journeyman or certification in the Machine Repair trade and/or relative experience.
