CNC Machinist needed in Deer Park

Must be experienced CNC Machinist in both Mill and Lathe.

Duties:

• Demonstrates the ability to solve basic problems. Recognizes problems in machining process and reports to appropriate supervisor.
• Reviews and comprehends blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements.
• Performs machine setups by selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments,  accessories, on machines to include mills and/or lathes.
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant, flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input or computerized machine control media.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as angles, lengths, diameters in decimals and fractions.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Requires 3 years experience in a related field or in a role that involves the operation of CNC mill/lathe.
• Fanuc control Knowledge.
