Pay: $28 to $32 per hour

Maintenance Planner Job Summary:

Responsible for providing leadership, training, planning, and scheduling of maintenance work activities and resources through coordination with maintenance, planning, and production staff members and related schedules. Efforts will support control and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and replacement, installation, lubrication, labor, and related budgets. Position will also be responsible for development of maintenance personnel, equipment, preventative maintenance processes, and labor reports to track and monitor usage and reliability data. Will act as point of contact with other departments in communication of maintenance work activities and projects in conjunction with external vendors. 

Maintenance Planner Job Duties:

• Control and monitoring of Preventive Maintenance Inspection Program to provide early detection of maintenance problems.
• Provides direction and leadership to the maintenance team by assigning task, setting schedules and assures accountability of task completion.
• Schedules and coordinates with outside contractors, vendors/suppliers to complete work.
• Develops Scopes of Work for special projects, selects contractors and manages project defined by the SOW.
• Administration of a periodic maintenance program embracing the rebuild, overhauls, component replacement, teardowns, inspections, major lubrication services.
• The conversion of all maintenance needs into resources and the development of a plan to accomplish these needs through effective scheduling.
• Coordinate the purchase and availability of materials and labor necessary to complete maintenance job orders by estimating the required materials and labor resources needed for effective scheduling.
• Monitoring the use of maintenance labor and to ensure maximum planned work and minimum unplanned or emergency work.
• Responsibility for the upkeep, training, data collection and history update and priority updating of the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Data in the plant including the P.M. and Parts Replacement Schedule.
• Communicating to other department-related maintenance scheduling and planning issues as necessary including reports and presentations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Previous maintenance planning and scheduling experience mandatory
• SAP experience
• Microsoft office, excel, project experience a plus
• Supervisory experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills preferred
