ResourceMFG is looking for a Mechanic/Lube Technician

Located in Belen, NM

$18-$20 DOE

Days 8am- 4pm

Job Description:

An aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair on construction equipment.

Demonstrated experience with servicing construction equipment.
Draining the oil from equipment and replacing it to manufacturer specifications.
Topping off other fluids, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze and windshield wiper fluid etc...
Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues.
Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.
Performing weekly maintenance: blowing filters, checking air filter housing for integrity and cleanliness, checking fluids, noting all equipment issues.
Installing new parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries etc...
Lubricating all moving parts, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.
Washing the equipment and detailing the machine cab. Fueling equipment.

Job Experience and Requirements:

Basic electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Time management and organizational skills as well as hand-eye coordination
Effective communication skills.
The ability to read and follow complex directions in manuals as well as relay information in reports.
The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position of Lube Technician, such as bending and reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds.
