Line Operator Opening in New Haven, MO. Career Growth Opportunities!

Monday-Thursday, 5:30 am-4 pm

$17-$20 DOE

Responsible for keeping the production line running first quality product daily.  This position provides team leadership for all line personnel.  The Line Operator ensures that the line is started promptly daily and monitors production to keep everything running correctly. 

Job Duties:

1. Responsible for daily line production.
2. Setup the line in the morning before other line personnel arrives.
3. Communicate with other line personnel to keep operations running smoothly.
4. Be able to work any station on the line.
5. Once line is running, routinely check each station to verify everything is running correctly.
6. Routinely inspect fabric at each station to ensure it is running as first quality.
7. Help lab personnel with plant trials.
8. Work with Production Supervisor to problem solve any line issues.
9. Work with QC to improve the product when needed.
10. Work with Maintenance when needed to get equipment up and running.
11. Maintain records of greige goods and coatings used for each production order.
12. Follow preventative maintenance procedures.
13. Adhere to job safety requirements.
14. Work as a team with fellow coworkers.
15. Various duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Be able to both take and give direction.
2. Keep a positive temperament when dealing with a problematic situation.
3. Have experience in every job on the line.
4. Flexibility to fill in for other positions in their absence or when required.
5. Work under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
6. Use cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, squeegees, and shovels.
7. Use pumps, hand and power tools.
8. Keep a clean work environment.
9. Show up to work every day on a timely basis.
10. Be able to read, write, and do simple arithmetic.
11. Review safety training material and pass competency tests.
12. Maximize your productivity by always staying busy.
