NOW HIRING Maintenance Mechanics in Perris, CA!! 

A Maintenance Mechanic job in Perris, CA is available. The Technician will oversee starting up jobs to the correct process parameters, performing preventative maintenance on production equipment, and troubleshooting process problems. The position will perform simple maintenance fixes of tools and production equipment while documenting more complex problems for future follow up. Technician will work with production operators to develop improvements and report accurate and timely inventory.

Pay Rate: based on experience

Schedule: 3rd shift Mon-Fri  9pm to 5:30am 

Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties will consist of the following:

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, analyzing, tuning and/or improving performance of manufacturing machines with little or no supervision
  • Performance of preventative maintenance and record keeping on all equipment
  • Responsible to work with and assist with production start-ups and communicate effectively with production supervisors/Managers on machine availability and status.
  • Process adjustments to maintain quality and ensure part stay within desired specifications.
  • Perform startups and shutdowns as needed
  • Perform daily clean and grease activities as scheduled, which includes good housekeeping
  • Meets productivity standards
  • Perform mold changes as needed, Installs dies on machine, according to work order specifications, using clamps, bolts and hand tools.
  • Set-up auxiliary equipment when needed this includes but not limited to mold control, chiller, water bath, dye cutters, sprue cutter, drill etc.
  • Submit daily report state accurately what accord during ones shift

 

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Analyzes and implements strategies to reduce injection machine downtime and spoilage
  • Drives to resolve any repeat machine/process problems
  • Communicates problems and corrective action with supervisor, maintenance, process technicians, quality control personnel and other operators
  • Strict adherence to Safety and Quality requirements
  • Accurate Completion of paperwork, repair orders, pm’s, change logs, startup checklist, 1st piece buy off, scrap
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Work well on a team and with other departments
  • Self - Motivated
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Excellent Attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
