***ALERT SEEKING SKILLED Machinist ***

LATHE OPERATOR 1^ST SHIFT

$30 per hour

 Skills

• Set-up and operate Mori Seiki and/or Yang lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and explain Blueprints, Engineering Changes, and Manufacturing Instructions. 
• Mathematics skills: Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry. 
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical components, tooling and fixtures. 
• Use of all measuring instruments including Dial Bore Gauge, Micrometer and Comparator.
• Comprehensive understanding of tool geometries, materials, and coatings. 
• Must be knowledgeable in tooling selection and speeds / feeds. 
• Problem solving skills. 
• Accurately complete all required documents (Router, Production Inspection Report, Programs, etc.). 
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. 
• Must be able to be able to listen carefully to verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to load material in and out of the machines.
• Must keep machine properly maintained.
• Adhere and comply with all guidelines set forth in the D&S Rules and Regulations; and with all policies set forth by the company
• Work with the company and strive to meet the goals set forth in the Quality Policy
• Any other duties as required.
