Description

Job title: Chemical Operator Assistant

To maintain all product prepped for chemical operators, assist operators with final inspection, and any receiving
duties. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Selects holding rack according to size, shape, and number of objects to be plated.
  • Removes objects from tank after specified time, rinses objects, and immerses them in bath of hot water or
    solution to seal coating.
  • Rinses & hangs objects on racks/baskets to air-dry.
  • Actively plans and schedules assigned chemical process preparation based on incoming work forecasts
    from the Supervisor and/or Senior Processor.
  • Receives product from customers and stages in adequate department.
  • Inspects all finished product, take X-ray readings of plated product to assure that all is in accordance with
    manufacturer's or customers request.
  • Ensures on time delivery and quality standards are accomplished.
  • Ensures immediate work areas remain presentable to customers.
  • Actively upholds punctuality and attendance of the plating lines.
  • Daily processes assigned work in the wet processing area and collaboratively prioritizes the work of other
    staff.
